Mahatma Jyotiba NGO is a community-driven non-governmental organization founded by Shri Satyanarain, a visionary deeply committed to environmental and social welfare. Named in honor of Mahatma Jyotiba Phule, the great reformer and educationist, our NGO was established with a mission to serve nature and humanity through collective efforts and grassroots activism.
Our journey began with a single thought — to create a cleaner, greener, and more conscious society. Over the years, that thought has evolved into action, thanks to a dedicated team of 11 passionate members who work selflessly across villages, towns, and institutions throughout Haryana.
What We Do
At Mahatma Jyotiba NGO, we believe real change starts at the ground level. Our core areas of work include:
Tree Plantation
We conduct regular plantation drives in schools, colleges, public parks, government buildings, and rural areas. Our goal is not just to plant trees, but to nurture them and ensure they grow into healthy, lasting sources of life.
Some of our proud projects include:
Planting 10 trees in Butana village
Planting 20 trees at Khedi Jal Ghar
We aim to expand these efforts and plant thousands more across Haryana in the coming years.
Safai Abhiyaan (Cleanliness Campaigns)
In alignment with the Swachh Bharat Mission, our NGO regularly conducts cleanliness drives in public spaces, schools, and marketplaces. We involve local youth and volunteers to raise awareness about hygiene, sanitation, and responsible waste disposal.
Bhandara (Community Food Drives)
Mahatma Jyotiba NGO organizes community bhandaras, where free meals are served to the needy. These events are not just about food, but about bringing people together — promoting unity, compassion, and service to others.
